My client is a well established business based in Crewe looking to recruit an experienced HR administration candidate to join the team on a 12 month FTC. You will be working alongside the Management team and have responsibility for ensuring the business functions across the office run efficiently and effectively with particular emphasis on customer service, recruitment and personnel.

An essential part of this role will be to assist the HR & Administration Manager in ensuring that all administration is meeting required standards. You will be accountable for the management of administration in the company so attention to detail is essential for this role.

Key Duties:

  • Manage enquiries via email or telephone
  • Dealing with all aspects of HR, including right to work checks, screening and vetting and seeking advice from specialists when required
  • Managing recruitment drives, including writing job adverts, contacting applicants and arranging interviews
  • Ensure that absence, sickness and holiday requests are recorded correctly
  • Dealing with the new starter process, creating welcome packs and arranging regular probation period meetings
  • Ensuring all records are kept up to date
  • Ensure transport checks are completed daily
  • Overseeing the completion of KPIs
  • Ensure all licenses are kept up to date and any renewals are completed in a timely manner

Skills Required:

  • Must have previous HR and administration experience
  • Proficient on systems including MS Office
  • Pro-active approach
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage own workload
  • Confidential
