Join Our Team as a Year 2 Primary Teaching Assistant in Sandbach!

We're looking for a dedicated Year 2 Primary Teaching Assistant to support a child with an EHCP who has social and emotional needs. If you're patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic about creating a Positive learning environment, we'd love to hear from you! This role is 5 days a week with full Primary school hours (8:30 -3:30)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to a Primary Year 2 student with an EHCP.
  • Assist in setting strategies to support the child's social and emotional development.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt lessons and activities.
  • Create a positive, inclusive atmosphere where the child feels safe and encouraged to learn.
  • Monitor and report on the child's progress, working collaboratively with parents and professionals.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children with social and emotional needs.
  • A patient, understanding approach with a strong ability to build rapport.
  • A positive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
