Part Qualified or Fully Qualified Accountant

Our client, a long-established firm of Accountants based in Sandwich, is seeking a dedicated and ambitious individual to join their team.

Requirements:

  • Good academic background with a willingness to learn new skills and grow in your role.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in an accountancy practice.
  • Ideally, AAT level 3 qualified or studying ACCA. QBE will also be considered.
  • Part-qualified or fully qualified candidates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of sole trader, partnership, and limited company accounts.
  • Preparation of personal, partnership, and corporation tax returns.
  • Preparation of VAT and CIS returns, along with processing payroll and pensions as required.
  • Utilisation of software packages such as Xero, Sage 50, and VT.
  • Experience with BTC Practice Software is advantageous, but training will be provided.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
  • Correspondence with clients and agencies such as HMRC.
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP, ideally with an understanding of FRS102 and FRS105.
