ARE YOU AN ENGINEER WITH EXPERIENCE IN MANUFACTURING?

As a Production Engineer for our globally recognised client, you will be a key part of production from the final stages of product design to the product release. Your role ensures projects are achieved on time, to a set quality and within budget for new and existing designs.

Duties for the Production Engineer include:

  • Manage the process for design and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • Develop plans and documentation for a range of engineering projects from design to production.
  • Collaborate across departments to resolve day to day manufacturing issues.
  • Participate in customer and supplier visits to build and maintain relationships.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives for new product introduction and design.
  • Read engineering equipment designs and instructions for development.
  • Any other duties required.

The successful Production Engineer will have / be:

  • A degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
  • Solid experience working within a similar manufacturing environment – electro-optical; automotive; precision engineering – this is essential so please do not apply if you have no working experience.
  • The ability to react to changes in production demand and implement effective resolutions.
  • Experience in a role requiring time management, tight deadlines and quality production.
  • The ability to read engineering drawings and understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.
  • A solution-based mindset
  • Been living and working in the UK for at least 5 years – this is essential due to security.
