Role Summary:
To inspect and test products following manufacture, fault diagnose and repair products to the specific product standard and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:
- Test product using Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and the ESS equipment and relevant procedures.
- Test and inspection of new and returned products to ensure it meets required specifications.
- Carry out testing and inspection of new and returned product to ensure that it meets the required specification.
- Report non-conformance using the product control data base, email, NCR or MRB procedures.
- Diagnose and repair defects within Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs).
- Complete and file all related documentation in a timely manner.
- Complete continual review and updates of test documentation and Product Work Instructions.
- Report all deviation to the engineering team for correction.
- Work as part of the team to promote continual improvement throughout the business.
Experience and skills required for this position:
- Experience working within an engineering / quality related production environment.
- Fault diagnosis to component level of PCBAs.
- The ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings.
- Ability to use electronic equipment such as multimeter's, oscilloscopes.
- Capable of working under own initiative.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools.
- Capable of articulating root cause of simple failures.
- Capable to identify acceptable build quality to FFF methodology.
- Capable of using MS word and excel programs.
- Identify and report continuous improvement opportunities within the department.
- Understanding of electrostatic devices and handling.
- Working within a clean room environment.
- HND or BSc Electronics or similar (desirable)
- Due to the nature of this business all candidate will be required to undergo security clearance at SC level.
