The role combines two key areas within the people team- HR systems and Payroll. A unique role in the business where you will play a critical role in the optimisation and continuous improvement of HR systems and overseeing payroll processes. Managing a small team, you will also provide day to day guidance and support.
Flexible working hours considered: School hours, condensed hours etc!
Responsibilities include:
HR Systems:
*Deliver UK people systems implementation projects including T&A and system contract renewals
*Provide excellent technical and operational guidance to all HR system/s users
*Designing and developing streamlined administrative processes across the people function, providing support and training to users on HR system functionalities
*Ensure compliance is adhered to by carrying out regular internal audits
*Develop and optimise dashboards and analytics tools
*Analyse people data to identify potential cultural issues and support decision-making to improve the colleague experience
*Be an active champion of continuous improvement and bring ideas for new ways of working
Payroll:
*Manage the end-to-end payroll process for all employees including calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions and benefits
*Lead year-end payroll processes, including P60s, P11Ds, and annual reporting requirements
*Collaborate with People and Finance teams to ensure alignment of payroll processes with company policies and procedures
Skills and experience required:
*Experienced with HR systems
*Experienced with payroll
*Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
*A continuous improvement mindset and great technical proficiency
*Strong organisational and project management skills
