Warehouse Operative and Counterbalance Driver

Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative based near Sandy for a well-established commercial company. Due to location, you must have access to your own transport.Summary of the Warehouse Operative role 

Salary: CompetitiveLocation: Near Sandy, BedfordshireType of Contract: Temp to PermHours: 40 hours, Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Responsibilities of theWarehouse Operative

• Picking, packing, order processing and stock control. 
• The role is physical and will require lifting and standing on feet/walking for long durations.
• Re-palletising and labelling.
• Receive and check goods in and returns. 
• Preparation of goods for dispatch.

Requirements for a successful Warehouse Operative

• Counterbalance forklift licence.
• Experience working within a warehouse environment.
• Strong documentation skills and time management. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Must be physically fit due to the nature of the role and heavy lifting involved.
