The Role:Lead Accountant
Within Blue Skies the Lead Accountants are the pillar of the business and an essential aspect of enhancing the client relationship, helping clients with meeting filing requirements, keeping them ahead of any unexpected tax issues and also develop junior members of the team.
As a Lead Accountant a snippet into what your role will entail is:-
- Clients:-You will be responsible and accountable for maintaining a portfolio of clients dealing with all tasks from client contact through to ensuring that our internal and statutory deadlines for financial reporting are met.
- Pro-active advice:- We arent like your traditional accountants reviewing the clients finances after they are done, we aim to offer real time advice based on the clients circumstances as and when they happen, knowing the clients, their aspirations and circumstances is essential within this role.
- Team Development:Working with those around you, you will be integral to the training and development of your colleagues
- Business:- Along with other senior members of the team you will help drive the business forward ensuring that our reputation and standards are maintained.

What Were Looking For:
- Experience:A minimum of 3 years in practice with a proven track record of success
- Qualifications:Ideally you will be fully qualified within ACCA/CIMA or ACA, though we will consider finalists with 4 exams remaining and the relevant experience
- Skills:Exceptional analytical abilities, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software
- Great Communication skills:- We deal with a variety of creative individuals so its essential you are able to communicate effectively to ensure they receive the person centred service they have come to expect
- Attitude:A proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a drive to exceed expectations
