We are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to join a prestigious brand based in East Suffolk. You will play a key role in overseeing and managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of all financial processes. You will be a crucial part in providing financial insights and strategies that drive the growth and success of the business.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of the annual budgets
  • Manage the monthly financial reporting, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Develop financial forecasts and reforecasting, identifying any key variances.
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger activities.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and ensure successful audit outcomes.
  • Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures.
Key Skills:
  • You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior management and other teams.
