Waddington Brown is supporting a wonderful charitable organisation that are focused on bringing music and the Arts to a wide range of individuals and supporting communities with educational development in these areas.

They are seeking to add a part time HR Advisor to join their small HR team and will support the team by focusing on recruitment, EDI as well as generalist HR activity. The role is offered on a part-time basis (up to 17.5 hours per week, across 3 days) and will be based on site in Snape, close to Aldeburgh.

The role of part time HR Advisor will involve:

Taking a lead role on recruitment initiatives including reviewing processes, successes and overseeing the recruitment budget.

Involvement in the EDI group, ensuring that recruitment is fair and equitable to all.

Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and colleagues on all areas of generalist HR.

Experienced and confident in leading disciplinary investigations where necessary.

Maintaining knowledge of HR legislation and policy, updating processes and procedures where necessary.


As a part time HR Advisor, you will already have experience in generalist HR and recruitment as well as your CIPD L5 qualification. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to work with individuals at all levels. A full driving licence is also required as there may be the requirement to travel occasionally to an additional site within the organisation.
