Are you an experienced finance officer who is immediately available to start a new role with a charity in the Scarborough area? If so, we have a fantastic role offering a 12 month fixed term contract with the potential to become permanent at the end.
Offering a great salary of £30-33,000 on a full time basis the key duties for the role of Senior Finance Officer will include: • Assisting with regular financial functions, including preparing BACs runs for suppliers.• Weekly Bank reconciliations• Monthly update of the fixed asset register• Assisting in production of monthly management reports, managing budget allocation and cost analysis• Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns• Assisting with budget related activities• Assisting with Payroll administration
Desirable skills• Advance IT skills with the ability to use Microsoft packages• AAT qualified• Previous experience of responsibility for an accounts function in small to medium sized business • Able to work as part of a team and cover colleagues where necessary.• Strong organisational and time management skills• Charities accounting experience would be beneficial
