Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a Global manufacturing business in Scarborough so are looking to recruit a HSE Advisor. Reporting into the HSE Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining and promoting Health, Safety, and Sustainability. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental and occupational health & safety regulations while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Duties & responsibilities:ÂEnsure the Health & Safety of employees, contractors, and visitors on-site.Conduct daily & weekly safety audits and lead risk assessments as required.Develop and maintain contingency plans for emergency situations.Deploy and manage occupational risk assessments and site impact assessments.Ensure that safety control measures are in place and followed by employees, contractors, and visitors.Lead and monitor safety walks, ensuring timely completion of corrective actions.Maintain and improve the Health, Safety, Environment & Energy Management System (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001).Ensure regulatory compliance in Health, Safety, and Environmental fields.Track, report, and communicate KPIs to senior management and external stakeholders.Lead the H&S committee, coordinating teams and promoting a strong safety culture.Deliver training programs to employees at all levels to enhance awareness and compliance.
I'm keen to speak to HSE Advisor with the following skillset:- H&S Qualification – NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent certification.
- Experience in engineering or manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to lead audits, risk assessments, and sustainability initiatives.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
