As a Teaching Assistant in a specialist provision, you will be:

  • Supporting children and young people with additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and trauma.
  • Building positive relationships and promoting emotional regulation and communication.
  • Helping deliver learning activities tailored to students' individual needs.
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff.
  • Applying psychology and behavioural strategies to help students engage and succeed.

We Welcome Applicants With:

  • A degree in Psychology or related fields (2:2 or above preferred).
  • Experience working or volunteering with children or young people in any setting.
  • Youth work, mentoring, or support experience (formal or informal).
  • Strong interest in SEN, mental health, neurodiversity, or therapeutic education.
