Location: Scarborough, North YorkshireHourly Rate: £11.68 - £13.60Number of Positions Available: 2

Shift Pattern- Monday to Friday- rotating shift pattern- 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm plus shift premium

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for engineering? Our client, a leader in the electrical manufacturing industry, is seeking two Inspection Operatives to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to quality assurance processes in a professional environment while receiving full training.

Key Responsibilities:

-Conduct thorough inspections of components to ensure conformity with engineering drawings and specifications.-Manage incoming inspection and metrology activities, ensuring the safety of yourself and others in the working area.-Develop and enhance standard inspection protocols to meet quality management standards.-Qualify equipment systems through Gauge R&R.-Utilise best available techniques and tools to optimise inspection methodologies.-Collaborate with production and quality engineers to address any quality issues related to component metrology.-Oversee the calibration programme for measurement equipment used within the plant.

What We're Looking For:

-Demonstrable interest in an engineering discipline.

-Proficient in PC use, particularly with Microsoft Office or equivalent software.-Strong ability to work efficiently and accurately, meeting deadlines consistently.-Practical science or engineering skills are a plus.-Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, communication, and literacy skills.-High level of flexibility and dependability, with a strong motivation to learn.-A good record of attendance.
