We are in search of a dedicated and accomplished Financial Controller (FC) to manage and enhance the financial operations within our Manufacturing SME client. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting and finance, demonstrating exceptional analytical skills and strategic planning capabilities.

Description

  • Oversee and manage all financial operations within the organisation.
  • Reporting to shareholders and board of directors bi-weekly with updated on key business decision, cashflow and P&L projections.
  • Monitoring of all external services provided to ensure that these are operating effectively and provide the best value to the company.
  • Analyse market trends and competitors' movements
  • Implement strategic financial planning and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Deliver financial reports and interpret financial information.
  • Analyse costs and identify potential areas of improvement.
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure annual audits are carried out efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.
  • Support the management team with decision-making processes by providing pertinent financial insights.

Profile

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
  • Proficiency in using financial management software.
  • Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
  • Profound knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
