Description
- Oversee and manage all financial operations within the organisation.
- Reporting to shareholders and board of directors bi-weekly with updated on key business decision, cashflow and P&L projections.
- Monitoring of all external services provided to ensure that these are operating effectively and provide the best value to the company.
- Analyse market trends and competitors' movements
- Implement strategic financial planning and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Deliver financial reports and interpret financial information.
- Analyse costs and identify potential areas of improvement.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure annual audits are carried out efficiently.
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.
- Support the management team with decision-making processes by providing pertinent financial insights.
Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
- Proficiency in using financial management software.
- Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent organisational, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
- Profound knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
