Sonic Summary

The Management Accountant position is located in Scunthorpe and reports to the Financial Controller.
The role requires preparation of full monthly Management Accounts and analysis of financial data to support management decision-making.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and qualifications such as AAT4, QBE, or be part qualified in ACCA or CIMA.
Proficiency in Excel and manufacturing experience are essential for this role.

Management Accountant

Location: Scunthorpe

Reporting to: Financial Controller

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8.30am to 5pm
Friday: 8.30am to 4.30pm

Role

This role provides effective support to the Financial Controller, becoming an integral part of the finance function, and maintaining financial policies and management information systems.

Job Description

Prepare full monthly Management Accounts.
Analyse financial and business data to assess and challenge performance, aiding management decision-making.
Produce key reports daily, weekly, and monthly in a timely and accurate manner to support business performance.
Liaise and support other areas within the finance function, including Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger.
Update and maintain the Fixed Asset Register.
Prepare VAT returns.
Report Intrastat data.

Skills/Abilities/Qualifications

AAT4, QBE, Part Qualified ACCA or CIMA.
Manufacturing experience.
High proficiency in Excel.
