Quality Systems Engineer

Main purpose of the job
To support the Quality Manager / Quality Engineers in the development and control of thebusiness management systems, standards, and customer specific requirements.


Main missions and results:
To maintain and ensure certification to IATF16949, China Compulsory Certification, and anycustomer specific requirements known and understood within the business. To report andtrack internal and external audit findings to completion within agreed timescales through:

Management, upkeep, and maintenance of the internal document control system.
Maintain Customer specific requirements for the plant and ensure they are captured withinthe Business Management System.
Support the Quality Manager in providing data for the Management Review.
Support the Quality Manager by leading all external Quality certification audits.
Support the Quality Manager by leading all internal / Customer Quality audits.
Support the Quality Manager with the required corrective action responses to external andinternal audit findings / all relevant parties.
Manage the China Compulsory Certification requirements for the business.
Report out all identified non-conformities / findings and provide support for management toidentify preventative and corrective actions, and close out with auditing body or at site level.
Generate Layered Process Audit (MPA, LPA) analysis data and report out to the business.
Manage and maintain the deviation process for the business.
Provide month end data to the Quality manager.
Conduct internal and external audits as required by the business and report out findings.
Provide performance analysis and metrics as required by the business.
Team member on 8D investigations (where applicable).
Support of Kaizen / C.I activities in plant (where applicable).
Liaise and support H&S Coordinator by trending H&S data.
Has knowledge of IAC procedures regarding health and safety at work, incident reporting,EHS screening, actions taken by EHS coordinators and EHS committees.
Understands functional relevant clauses within IATF16949.
Comply with any other requests to ensure the smooth running of the business.

Preferred skills and experience
Essential
HND / Degree or equivalent in a relevant field
Proven experience working within a Quality / System based role.
Experience of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards, including internal audit experience.
Analytical approach / attention to detail.
Independent and self-motivated.
Can do attitude with propensity to problem solve.
Ability to communicate at all levels of the business.
Computer literate with Microsoft packages.
Able to travel UK wide when required.
Able to present to all levels of the organisation.
