Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant (TA) Programme:

  • Support students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they receive the necessary assistance.
  • Help prepare materials, resources, and activities for lessons.

Requirements of the Teaching Assistant (TA) Programme:

  • Previous experience in care, working with vulnerable adults, or roles such as sports coaching or children’s entertainment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students and staff.
  • A patient and compassionate attitude, with a genuine desire to support students in their learning journey.
  • The ability to adapt to different classroom needs and work collaboratively with teachers.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact on young lives.
  • Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
