We are excited to be working with an award-winning family business as they look to appoint a Farm Manager to their thriving broiler farm in North Lincolsnshire.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join the business as they continue to go to from strength to strength. If you have experience working with poultry, are self motivated and professional we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the farm and the day to day running of the farm to produce chicken of the highest standards
- Conducting night checks and alarm cover.
- Ensuring all aspects of running the farm are met while ensuring you maintain safe working practices
- Ensuring the welfare of the birds is maintained at all times
- Ensuring ventilation, feed, vaccinations and conditions are kept at optimum levels you will also be required to maintain accurate records
- Having a good attitude and being reliable
Requirements:
- Ability to communicate and engage at all levels.
- Great problem solving skills.
- Excellent people skills.
- Poultry experience and bird welfare - minimum 2 years
- Full UK Driving Licence.
