We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, well-rounded individual to take over the HR responsibilities across two sites based in Scunthorpe.
This will be an exciting and challenging role, with a variety of tasks to be undertaken daily.
Main duties will include:
路 Management of the recruitment process both directly and through maintaining relationships with agencies
路 Processing of new starters and leavers; completing right to work checks, creating offer letters, contracts and new starter packs, and communicating these with the payroll department.
路 Supporting or taking the lead on investigatory, disciplinary and grievance matters.
路 Advising supervisors and managers on employee relation matters, note taking or taking the lead if required and support in the upskilling of others.
路 Update and maintain employee personnel files and databases, ensuring audit standards are met.
路 Monthly KPI reporting prepared promptly for board meetings.
路 Creating relationships with key stakeholders in the business to understand key issues within departments and advise on solutions.
路 Liaising with agencies regarding the transfer of candidates.
路 Monitor maternity, paternity, adoptive or parental leave, ensuring relevant communication is given in a timely manner.
路 Maintain knowledge of employment law updates and changes and how they may impact company policies or procedures, ensuring company compliance.
The ideal candidate:
路 Level 5 CIPD qualified or working towards
路 Previous experience in a manufacturing background (desirable but not essential)
路 Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt to the audience to deliver a clear message.
路 Solutions focused and positive, always acting professionally and diplomatically.
路 Understands the importance of confidentiality and always maintains this.
路 Passionate about people.
路 Highly competent in Microsoft packages.
The package on offer:
路 Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00, with the ability to work from home occasionally if required.
路 Salary 拢35k (DOE)
路 31 days holiday, inclusive of statutory bank holidays
