The Council is seeking a highly skilled Interim Commercial Transformation Manager to lead and deliver a transformational programme within our Leisure and Culture services. This role will focus on redesigning, restructuring, and governing a commercially sustainable and community-focused leisure and culture offer. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of these services, ensuring they meet both financial goals and community needs.
Key Responsibilities-
Strategic Leadership:
- Lead the diagnostic, redesign, and implementation of a new operating model and staffing structure for Leisure and Culture services.
- Provide strategic direction to ensure the offer is robust, financially sustainable, and community-centric.

Operational Oversight:
- Develop and execute a plan for delivering a traded Leisure and Culture service that is innovative and competitive.
- Optimize income streams and assess opportunities for new products, services, and operational efficiencies.

Collaboration and Advisory:
- Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and Transformation Team, providing expert advice and strategic insights.
- Foster cross-departmental collaboration to deliver a seamless community experience.
- Deliver a hybrid public and commercial model that maximizes income while meeting community needs.
- Continuously evaluate income, cost, return, and social value alongside market trends and demands.
- Foster a culture of excellence and innovation, empowering teams to deliver top-tier services.
- Emphasize cost management through optimized staffing, technology integration, and operational efficiencies.
- Prioritize customer experience by providing consistent, high-quality interactions and services.
