Key Responsibilities:
  • Material Planning & Control: Manage the material flow to ensure the smooth production process. This includes planning and scheduling material requirements to avoid shortages and overstocking.
  • Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, resolve any supply issues, and maintain strong relationships.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and control stock levels, conduct regular stock audits, and implement inventory optimisation strategies.
  • Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate material records and produce reports on inventory performance, stock turnover, and other KPIs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements for material control, inventory reduction, and cost efficiencies.
Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar Material Controller role, ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of material planning, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
