Slinger

We are currently seeking an experienced Slinger for an immediate start in the Scunthorpe area. This is a contract role working with a reputable tunnelling subcontractor on an exciting water infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely sling and direct loads during lifting operations.
• Communicate clearly with crane operators and site personnel.
• Ensure that all lifting activities are performed in accordance with site safety regulations and method statements.
• Inspect lifting equipment to ensure it is safe and fit for use.
• Assist the team with additional duties as required.

Requirements:

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Slinger/Signaller qualification.
• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within tunnelling or heavy civil engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of site health and safety practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-risk environment.
• Full UK driving licence is preferred.
