We are actively recruiting for a Payroll Professional / Manager job opportunity with a successful, long standing, accountancy firm based in Brigg. The salary is negotiable and will of course depend on experience and qualification level and is open within reason.

Requirements:

  • Payroll Administration and Payroll Management skills
  • Experience in handling Garnishments and Payroll Taxes
  • Knowledge of Employee Benefits
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing
  • Proficiency in payroll software and systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the accurate and timely processing of monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly payroll for all employees.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
  • Prepare and submit statutory filings such as tax returns, pension contributions, and end-of-year reports.
  • Maintain and optimise payroll systems and software.
  • Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Provide guidance to employees regarding payslips, tax codes, or deductions.
  • Support the payroll team, ensuring high standards of accuracy and performance.
  • Train and develop team members to stay updated on industry practices and regulations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy.
