Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant
Location: Scunthorpe
Salary: £85 - £95 per day
Type: Full-time, Term-time only
Working Hours: 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join a School school in Scunthorpe. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will provide support to students, monitor behaviour, and work closely with teachers to ensure students receive the necessary support to excel academically.
Responsibilities:
- Offering support to students with their studies, including one-to-one or small group sessions.
- Monitoring behaviour, identifying and addressing patterns of poor behaviour.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Providing guidance and support to students, ensuring their welfare is protected.
- Contributing to the development of school policies and strategies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a teaching assistant, learning support, or counselling.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- The ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- A caring and nurturing personality.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
- A valid DBS check.
