Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Assist and encourage the young person in maintaining their personal care routines.
  • Plan and participate in various activities and fun days out to promote social and recreational development.
  • Provide transportation for the young person to attend meetings, school, appointments, and other necessary activities.
  • Build and maintain a positive and supportive relationship with the young person on an emotional level.
  • Prioritize the safety and security of the young person at all times.

In order to apply you must hold a full UK drivers licence, (no provisional / international licences) with access to a vehicle for work, you should have a warm and bubbly personality to engage with children and young people on their level, and you should be flexible in your work life. You must also have full Right to Work in the UK. Ideally you will be experienced in supporting challenging young people, but it is not essential.
