Sonic Summary

Our client, a leader in the steel plate processing and fabrications industry, is seeking a Welder to join their team.
The position offers a 4-day work week from Monday to Thursday, 7 am to 5 pm, with potential overtime on Fridays.
Candidates must have proven experience as a welder and the ability to use various welding equipment and procedures.
The job requires knowledge of safety standards and the ability to read technical documents and drawings.
The salary for this position is competitive, and candidates should have relevant experience in the field.

Our respected client, a leader in the steel plate processing and fabrications industry are currently seeking a Welder to join their team.

4 day week - Monday to Thursday 7am-5pm

With overtime available on Fridays

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Reading blueprints and drawings and taking measurements for planning layout and procedures

- Preparing and operating welding equipment

- Maintaining equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

- Inspecting welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws

- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience as a welder

- Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures

- Experience in using electrical or manual tools

- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings

- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)

- Deftness and attention to detail
