We have an excellent new opportunity for a Project Engineering Manager working within the Nuclear industry.

The role is based at Sellafield in Cumbria and is to support the Sellafield DDP Framework

Candidates will require SC level security clearance. Existing clearance is preferable, otherwise Candidates must have the ability to achieve and retain security clearance (be a UK Citizen and not to have worked outside the UK for the past 5 years)


We require a Project Engineering Manager to take the lead on our projects in the design phase (supported by the PM).

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To coordinate and manage multi-discipline engineering teams to deliver FEED and Detailed Engineering Packages

The work covers all disciplines, with the majority of work performed by Sub-Contractors.

We have projects for new buildings, demolition, decommissioning, CE&I & Mechanical Installs.

Dependent on the project size/complexity there would be a Responsible Engineer for each discipline, and the PEM would then manage that integration.

Civils is the predominant discipline, but a discipline bias is not essential.

The role requires regular time at the Westlakes Office project location, 2 days per week minimum but can be discussed.


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Proven experience of managing multidiscipline teams during the FEED and EPC stages of Nuclear sector or similar Projects.
