Project Engineering Manager
Contract
Location: Cumbria (Westlakes Office, minimum 2 days per week – flexible)
IR35: To be determined
Our client has a requirement for a Project Engineering Manager, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Cumbria/Hybrid
Role Purpose:
To manage the delivery of multiple multi-disciplinary engineering designs to meet project specifications, schedules, budgets, safety, and quality requirements for the Sellafield Framework.
Job Role Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage multidiscipline engineering teams to deliver FEED and detailed engineering packages.
- Oversee projects covering new builds, demolition, decommissioning, CE&I, and mechanical installations.
- Ensure seamless integration of disciplines, with a client Responsible Engineer assigned per discipline.
- Primarily working with sub-contractors to deliver project requirements.
- Civils is the predominant discipline, but specific discipline bias is not essential.
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:
- Experience managing multidiscipline teams during FEED and EPC stages of nuclear or similar projects.
- SC Clearance required (or ability to achieve).
- Sellafield experience preferred, but not essential.
- Degree qualified or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
- Professional Qualification (CEng or equivalent) preferred.
