WHAT YOU WILL WANT TO KNOW AS AN ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
- Competitive salary range of £32,000 - £36,000
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (part time hours will also be considered)

A SNAPSHOT OF THE ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
- Prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports, ensuring timely and accurate performance insights.
- Reconcile accounts to for departmental reporting.
- Partner with departments for budget meetings, providing variance analysis and recommendations.
- Manage payroll journal postings, timesheet analysis, accruals, and expenditure reviews.
- Support financials for projects, bids, and tenders.
- Complete reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Act as key contact for the Annual Statutory Audit.
- Assist with annual budget preparation, re-forecasting, and process improvements in reporting.

- Minimum qualification: AAT or equivalent; candidates with relevant experience may also be considered.
- Prior experience in an accounting environment.
- Proficiency in financial reporting.

- Excellent communication skills.
- Methodical and structured approach to work.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
