About the RoleIn this pivotal position, you'll play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of production lines. This includes:
- Conducting proactive and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshooting faults to minimize downtime.
- Collaborating with production teams to maintain safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Assisting in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Committing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability.
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
- A strong electrical bias with mechanical aptitude.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment (food industry experience is a bonus!).
- A relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering).
- Knowledge of PLC fault-finding and automation systems.
- A proactive mindset and a willingness to work as part of a dynamic team.
