We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance department. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in preparing, developing, and analysing key financial information to support decision-making processes within the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.

Description

Preparing accurate monthly management accounts
Analysing financial performance and contributing to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts
Financial Reporting for the Sales / Commercial teams.
Offering professional judgement on financial matters and advising on ways of improving business performance
Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers
Implementing corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls
Collaborating with the wider finance team
Documenting and monitoring internal controls in support of auditing team
Coordinating more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

A degree or similar qualification in Accounting, Finance or related field
Professional certification (e.g. Part Qualified / Finalist CIMA, ACCA)
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and familiarity with relevant accounting software
Comprehensive knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
Strong analytic skills with an attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills / Some Business Partnering
Ability to work in a team and to build strong working relationships
4 days in the office 1 day wfh
