Civil Construction Planner
Are you a Project Planner with Groundwork experience ready for your next challenge?
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Planner to join a Main Contractors planning team. You'll develop and implement comprehensive plans for complex civil engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
About the role of a Civil Project Planner
- You will be responsible for updating and monitoring a fully integrated programme, this is likely to include implementing change over the life cycle of the project.

- Identifying potential risks and issues.
- Act methodically, pro-active and data driven to optimise performance and reduce costs.
- Engage with all stakeholders involved with a project, including the Client and their representatives.
Requirements for a Civil Project Planner
- Experience with groundworks
- Experience working with a Main contractor or developer
- Experience working at delivery and tender stage
- Experience working with Asta
- Relevant construction qualifications
- Practical construction knowledge is essential.
- Hands-on planning mindset with determination and passion for identifying problems before they are realised to deliver the best possible outcome.
- Can quickly and clearly articulate key issues and listen and capture concerns of others.
