Job Opportunity: Trusts Manager
Location: Sevenoaks
Overview:We are working with a top 50 law firm in Sevenoaks that is keen to recruit a Trusts Manager to join its Tax & Trusts Team, part of the Private Client Advisory group.
Role Requirements:
Experience:• Administering a portfolio of trusts on behalf of trustee clients• Preparation of trust income tax returns, capital gains tax filings, and inheritance tax accounts• Drafting annual trust accounts using specialist accounting software• Trust administration, including liaising with trustees and professional advisors• Preparing and submitting FATCA, CRS, and Trust Registration Service (TRS) filings• A minimum of 2 years' experience in personal tax, tax compliance, and trust administration
Skills:• Knowledge of Inheritance Tax and tax planning for trusts• Experience working in a client-facing role, liaising with HMRC and third parties such as banks and stockbrokers• Strong understanding of accounts practices and tax return preparation• STEP, ATT, or ACCA qualifications (or similar) are highly desirable
