- Lead and inspire a small finance team, ensuring smooth operations in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Manage CIS submissions and build strong relationships with subcontractors to ensure timely payments and resolve any queries.
- Develop and implement financial policies that support the businesses growth while maintaining compliance and best practices.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
- Prepare year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
- Proven experience as a finance manager, ideally within the construction or contracting sectors.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a small team.
- A keen eye for detail and solid analytical abilities.
- A relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is a bonus, but hands-on experience is equally valued.
