- Preparation of the annual budget, including income, expenditure, and salaries, along with supporting schedules.
- Production of management accounts with variance analysis and full-year projections.
- Maintenance of monthly finance dashboard.
- Oversight of financial transactions to ensure best value and practices.
- Reporting of any significant variances and suggestion of corrective actions.
- Management of the annual financial year-end process and preparation of final figures.
- Leading the audit process, preparing necessary documents and audit files.
- Review of draft financial statements for accuracy before submission.
- Staying informed on financial sector changes and advise leadership as needed.
- Review and recommendation of updates to finance policies and the Risk Register.
- Management of the finance team, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Promotion of new technologies to improve department efficiency.
- Ensuring the team’s skills are current, providing training when necessary.
- CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualified.
- Proven financial background with payroll experience.
- Proficient IT skills with iFinance or ISAMS as an advantage.
- Proactive and highly organised individual.
