Take on a brilliant opportunity to join a prestigious education establishment in a picturesque area of West Kent in a fully onsite, full-time permanent role as a Service Desk Lead as part of a growing IT team. Enjoy a dynamic, jam-packed role where you will be heading up the user-facing IT function.


You will be proving a high quality, professional standard of customer service as part of an established IT support team and enjoy helping people from children to senior leaders with a logical, consistent approach to problem solving and excellent communication skills.


Requirements for the Service Desk Lead role include:


  • Personable, encouraging and calm character, able to prioritise in a busy service desk environment and organise workload effectively
  • A background in service desk support within a small team
  • Line management experience of managing day to day activities in a small team
  • Confident communication skills, to be able to communicate effectively with mostly non-technical people at all levels within an educational establishment
  • Experience of rolling out Windows devices, PCs and laptops & InTune skills for maintaining mobile phones


The offering for the Service Desk Lead is a full time, permanent position fully onsite in West Kent (hybrid working to be introduced at the start of 2025) with a salary of between £46,000-£50,000 depending on experience, and benefits including 25 days of annual leave + bank holidays, free lunches, free parking, a pension scheme increasing to a very attractive 10% contribution, fitness centre membership and more.
