My client is one of the most prestigious in the UK, they have come to me and asked me to find a Logistics Manager for a role which starts ASAP based in Sevenoaks.

Logistics Manager (Temp)

Manage and coordinate all logistical issues which will include managing all labour/ handy men /TM's, managing all deliveries/ collections, liaise with local neighbours and the local authority to suit the needs of the Project. This role will also be responsible for undertaking Smartwaste updates to ensure we are compliant.

  • Formulate, implement, develop and review the project logistics plan to include the delivery, waste, traffic and emergency management plan to suit the needs of the Project.
  • Maintain and upkeep the existing project accommodation / welfare facilities including establishing additional facilities as the project requires
  • Maintain and upkeep the project perimeter site hoarding, including alterations and planned moves to suit ongoing construction works / operations.
  • On site management of all logistical issues including but not limited to - Deliveries, Plant & Traffic Movements, Waste Management and Attendant Support Labour Workforce
  • Tower Cranes - Management of installation, operation and dismantling of the Tower Cranes required on the project including main point of contact for the Tower Crane Drivers.
  • Mobile Cranes - Management of Mobile Cranes required to undertake works on site as and when the need arises.
  • Hoists - Establishment of Hoisting Strategy, implementation, management and control of the Goods / Passenger Hoisting Facilities including provision of Drivers.
  • Management of traffic marshals and all labourers.
  • Management of all gates and gate personnel.

Ideally a Logistics Manager with circa 5+ years in the role.
