Logistics Coordinator

£30k - £36k DOE

Tonbridge

Our well-established client working within the manufacturing industry are looking to onboard an ambitious and energetic Logistics Coordinator to join their already flourishing team!

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic organisation and be part of a growing business where hard work and dedication is rewarded. Previous experience within a similar role is a necessity. If you are looking to further your career in the logistics industry then look no further!

Responsibilities:

  • Planning various loads for delivery across the country
  • Negotiating rates for delivery with third party suppliers
  • Preparing and processing delivery documentation
  • Supervising the company driver to ensure deliveries are made in the quickest and most cost effective manner
  • Monitoring the status of deliveries and updating customers where necessary
  • Producing reports on monthly transport spend
  • Adhoc admin duties where necessary
  • Addressing any unforeseen issues, such as delays or damaged goods, to ensure minimal impact on delivery

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Results driven and energetic
  • Flexible and reliable with a good attitude
  • Good time management
  • Advantageous coming from a manufacturing or engineering background
