Our Client is an established & successful Grower and Distributor of Fresh Produce, supplying to an exciting customer base across retail, wholesale, and food service arenas. We currently offer an exciting opportunity to join the technical team as Technical Manager.

Reporting to and working alongside the Head of Technical, the position of Technical Manager offers the opportunity to take responsibility for the site based technical management, to accompany the management of key customers and suppliers in a fundamental position that allows the team to work efficiently, positively, and with support to achieve success. Working as a key part of the driven food technical team, this individual will ensure the company continues to drive business forward, meeting a high level of standards, interacting across all departments and levels.
Key responsibilities;
Technical team management, with a motivating and supportive approach
Build and maintain positive & honest customer and supplier relations
Maintain Food Safety, Quality, Allergen & Training policies
Ensure raw material and finished product testing
Lead, develop and manage the HACCP team
Develop and manage the QMS

We require;
Positive team management experience is key
Experience gained in a site and customer / supplier technical position
Fresh Food / Fresh Produce exposure, with manufacturing / high-care experience advantageous
Confident with quality / technical systems & procedures including BRC, HACCP (Level 4), Auditing, NPD, and Food Safety.
Driving Licence required
