Are you an experience Product Manager within the Travel Industry? Are you experienced in contracting and maintaining excellent supplier / hotel relationships? Are you based in Kent and looking to avoid the London commute?? WE HAVE THE PERFECT ROLE FOR YOU!

We are working with an established Tour Operator based in Kent, who are looking for an experienced Product Manager (hotel) to join their team.

The role:

  • Negotiation of FIT/Beach contracts and special offers in line with company expectations
  • Direct responsibility for contract accuracy and completion
  • Maintain and react to competitor analysis on FIT/Beach product
  • Research and develop new markets and destinations
  • Maintaining excellent supplier relationships and promoting the company brand positively
  • Analyse market trends (both own product and industry) to propose and then develop new products
  • To monitor the daily sales with the Head of Product to highlight areas / products to improve sales for the business.
  • To undertake overseas visit from time to time to contract hotels and to inspect destinations and services.
  • All costs/dates for assigned areas loaded
  • Ensure all process for contracts to be loaded correctly
  • Ensure timely delivery of all brochures in conjunction with the Head of Product and the marketing department
  • In conjunction with the Head of Product and the team, look to streamline processes and introduce good working practices
  • To ensure the team is working as efficiently and productively as possible and to ensure accuracy of all material being sent out from the dept.
  • The above is a general overview of the main job tasks - other tasks may need to be undertaken from time to time - should the Chairman, CCO or Head of Product require

The person:

  • 5 years plus experience in Product / Contracting within the Travel Industry
  • Great Geographical knowledge (Europe desirable)
  • Experience contracting hotels (Europe desirable)
  • Natural relationship builder
