Venn Group are exclusively engaged with a Housing Association who are looking to recruit a Senior Finance Assistant to support the receivables team. The Successful Finance Assistant will work closely with the wider finance team predominantly ensuring all rental income is processed onto the rent ledger.

Job responsibilities:

-            Ensure all rent, service charge and fee income is accurately processed onto the rent ledger

-            Analyse all rent, service charge and related fee receipts on bank statements

-            Perform daily reconciliations on the rent control account

-            Ensure any queries from tenants are resolved efficiently and update them via, letter, email or phone on any changes in circumstances

-            Liaise with local authorities regarding rent benefit receipts and resolve any discrepancies

-            Provide any other ad hoc support to the finance team

Experience:

-            Housing Association experience is preferred

-            Strong communication skills
