This is an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join the team in London (Liverpool Street).

This role involves maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment across various commercial sites in the city. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of these facilities, responding quickly to reactive tasks, and working on planned preventative maintenance regimes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and reactive tasks across multiple commercial sites
• Perform electrical fault finding and repairs
• Adhere to Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) regimes
• Respond promptly to reactive tasks
• Plan and schedule maintenance activities
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, logic controllers, and other related components
• Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing facility-related concerns
• Utilise mechanical and electrical knowledge to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory
• Assist with supervising contractors during repair or installation projects
• Demonstrate leadership skills by providing guidance and support to junior technicians

Requirements

• Level 3 Electrical qualifications
• Test and inspection certifications
• Diploma or equivalent: additional technical certifications preferred
• Proven experience in facility maintenance or a related field
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and logic controllers
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
