Our client is a well-established food production company based in Shafetsbury, Dorset, with a strong reputation in the industry.

To support their in-house engineering team, they are looking for aMaintenance Technician
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00 - 16:30

These exciting tasks are awaiting you:

  • Provide front-line support for reactive and proactive facilities (site services & equipment) work requests
  • Complete assigned tasks and deliver facilities maintenance safely, complying with GMP standards both in terms of the work itself and ways of working
  • Follow company procedures, including managing tasks assigned in Epicor, ensuring timely closure of work orders
  • Assist with the supervision and management of sub-contractors brought in to support facilities maintenance
  • Support departmental goals and objectives, collaborating with the engineering team to achieve departmental KPIs and wider business objectives
  • Assist the Engineering Administrator with procurement of parts and materials, adhering to the engineering stock booking procedure
  • Contribute to the ongoing innovation within the Engineering Department, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and technological advances in the industry

About You:

  • You have solid experience and hands-on skills in maintenance & electrical
  • Basic IT literacy is required
  • You are willing to receive training in machinery maintenance
  • Strong communication skills are essential
  • Experience within a BRC/GMP food manufacturing environment would be an advantage
