Class 2 Driver

Our client is seeking a Class 2 26T Driver to join their team in Shaftesbury!

As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting waste to

various locations. This position requires strong communication skills,

mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate different types of vehicles.

Pay

£12.39 per hour

Hours

8-hour shift

Monday to Friday

Standard working pattern: 06:00 - 13:30 (13:00 Friday)

The role of a Class 2 Driver

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials
• Load and unload, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
• Communicate with team members to ensure efficient delivery
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Requirements:

• Must hold a minimum Category C (26T) CLASS 2 driving licence
• Must have a current digital tachograph card and evidence of a completed Drivers CPC qualification is essential

Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members

Ability to lift heavy objects and handle physical demands of the job

High level of attention to detail and safety consciousness
