The Role:
Law Staff are seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join our prestigious clients growing team. The successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload of family law matters and contribute to the continued success of our practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a wide range of family law cases, including:
- Privately and publicly funded matrimonial matters
- Divorce proceedings and judicial separations
- Drafting and negotiating separation agreements
- Ancillary relief and financial matters
- TOLATA (Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act) cases
- Domestic abuse cases
- Non-molestation and occupation orders
- Private Children Act matters
- Child habitation cases
- Applications for injunctions and orders
- Civil partnership dissolutions
- Cohabitation disputes
- Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
- Conduct own advocacy as required in court proceedings
- Provide clear, empathetic advice to clients
- Manage client expectations and maintain excellent client relationships
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
- Contribute to the firm's business development initiatives
- Qualified solicitor with current practicing certificate
- Minimum 1 years' post-qualification experience in Family Law
- Strong knowledge of family law legislation and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently
- Empathetic approach to client care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
