About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teaching assistant to join us in Sheerness. The ideal candidate will inspire, motivate, and challenge students, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to students who need additional help.
- Encourage and promote positive behaviour and a nurturing environment.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN) as required.
- Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
- Supervise students during break times and on school trips.
About You:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Certificate) is an advantage.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
