Strip Fit/MET Technician
Location: Sheerness
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7am to 4:30pm
Salary: £12- £14ph+ - Negotiable depending on experience, PAYE
Contract Type: Ongoing work
Igloo is looking for Strip Fitters to join our client’s team in Sheerness.
Our client is a leading finished vehicle logistics company with locations across the UK, who specialise in new and used vehicle preparation, logistics and secure storage to the automotive industry.
Your main duties will include:
- Accurately and skilfully undertake the removal of vehicle parts (body parts, mechanical, electrical, and trim)
- Removing damaged components in preparation for repairs.
- Re-fitting components to restore the vehicle back to a manufacturer approved standard.
- Ad hoc duties as and when required.
What Kind of Person Are We Looking For?
- Previous experience within a similar role is essential.
- Can work efficiently but to a high standard.
- Must have your own basic tools.
- Hold a full, category B driving licence, with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Must be able to work well within a team.
