English and Maths Tutor - 1:1
Prospero Teaching is looking for English, Maths, and Science Tutors to deliver bespoke tuition packages on a 1:1 basis to secondary-aged young people who are currently without a school placement.
Contract/Position Details:
- Location -At the young person's home in Sheerness
- Position - English and Maths
- Type of Work - Contract
- Start date - ASAP
- Duration - Until the pupil can reintegrate into a new school placement
- Contract type - Temporary
- Full-time/part-time - Part-time
- Minimum rate of pay - 20+ per hour
- Hours - Sessions will take place in the mornings, Mon - Fri
Experience, Training, and Qualifications of the English and Maths Tutor:
- QTS or equivalent
- Possess UK classroom teaching experience
- Be creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box
- Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
To be eligible for this role, the potential Tutor must:
- Hold the right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references.
