We are working on behalf of a good secondary school in the Minster, Swale area for a Teacher of Science to start September 2024. The successful teacher will need to have good knowledge of the KS3 Science curriculum. Early Careers Science Teachers would be considered alongside their more experienced colleagues. Unqualified candidates might be considered with a view to training in post.


The successful teacher will be a student-centred classroom practitioner possessing a depth of subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and enthuse students. You will be charismatic and keen to utilise interactive teaching methodologies in a career centred approach to education. You will use modern resources and equipment as well as the support of other staff to maximise the potential of the students in your care.


In order to apply for this Science Teacher job the following criteria must be met:


  • Strong subject knowledge of Science at KS3
  • Good understanding of the UK Science curriculum
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • An interactive approach to classroom delivery
